For my PIP I am doing the topic

Is Alternative Music 'Musis for Males?' - What is the relationship between alternative music and males?

I'm finding it hard because I'm not doing popular culture in class.

Any tips??

Look up the Board of Studies and locate the Society and Culture syllabus. Go to the back (I think there's a glossary of the terms used in SAC). Also look in the Pop Culture section of the syllabus and get familiar with the terms used in that topic. Use these in your PIP to demonstrate your knowledge of Pop Culture. :)

Hey ! .. good topic ..

im doing my pip sort of around the same concept as yours ..

except mines about females in music challenging stereotypes in rock music .

anywho .. like the post above said .. go onto the BOS website and copy out the popular culture syl.

ok and i have no tips.. because .. im stuggling with my pip too ..
are u laying out ur pip in chapters ?
if so .. start off ur first chap. by introducing alternative music as a genre and explain how alternative music is a popular culture .. u can do that by downloading the SAC syl .

then talk about men in rock and just say well .. that may be a reason for why so many guys like rock insted of girls .. umm yeah .. i dunno ..

thats about all ive got so far ..
it prob. wasnt any help ..!
