Is it really competitive? I really want to join but I'm a little out of shapeI've been with SUAC for the last year. I highly recommend joining
A mix of elite, competitive and recreational runners. So far it's the best group of people I've met through uni.Is it really competitive? I really want to join but I'm a little out of shape
I find running to be very stressful. It's exceedingly painful at times.Running is a great way to relieve stress. I've recently picked up running (like yesterday, lol). If you live in a residential college, you do get some SUAC membership. However, I am not sure which type of membership it is, I have yet to receive it.
It's mostly middle distance focused, which is what our coach specialises in. There are some sprinters and even marathon runners though, but I only know of one person who's done any serious training for field events.what is the athletics club like?
i used to do it.
immaa long jumper.
You have to join SUSF for $55 a year - this allows you to join the sport clubs (super-important example: sailing) and go to the gym casually. The website is really unclear about the casual prices unfortunately, and I don't know them.whats the price for using the gym casually (not membership, pay per use)?
so you pay $55 to join SUSF and you can go to the gym whenever you want for the year? You have to join SUSF for $55 a year - this allows you to join the sport clubs (super-important example: sailing) and go to the gym casually. nah i think it means we pay $55 for a membership and then pay per use AS WELL. ffs thats shit. why cant we just pay per use dammit?!?!so you pay $55 to join SUSF and you can go to the gym whenever you want for the year?
Pffh, that's nothing. If you want to compete for athletics, you pay the $55 for SUSF, the training/uniform fees for SUAC, $100 season registration for ANSW, then you get to pay again for every competition and/or event.nah i think it means we pay $55 for a membership and then pay per use AS WELL. ffs thats shit. why cant we just pay per use dammit?!?!
