Is anyone planning on working overseas after graduation? Or within 1-2 years after graduating?

If so where and how long after you graduate?

Just wondering if anyone else is planning this like I am.

Lots of people do. I'll probably think about it if I get into Law and end up finishing the degree.

Britain, Hong Kong and China are popular.

I don't think it is very common at all, particularly in the early stages of one's career..Unfortunately.

I am planning on working in the USA. It is a bit more difficult than working in the UK, or even HK. But not impossible...

How do you expect to use your Law degree in a different legal system?
This. That's why I'm doing three majors, all of which involve only international standards and practices, not national differential systems.

What country is your position located?

DeVenne, it's a very poor market for lawyers in the US at the moment. most lawyers can't even find a job.
I am aware of this. Clearly I am still studying, which would imply that I have at least a couple of years until graduation including PLT. Obviously I have at least a few years until such a relocation would be possible.

Hopefully, the market would have picked up in a few years time. In particular, I hope by mid to late 2012. I am also prepared to work as a clerk for a period of time.

Oh, I start in Australia. But give it a few years. They've got offices all over the place. I'll dig myself out of Australia somehow.

Haha I like your use of adjective, 'dig'.
actually it's a verb.
