Is anyone here working as an admin assistant or receptionist?

I need to know what the employment prospects are like in that industry for someone who does not have experience.

I am considering doing a Cert 3 in Business Admin at TAFE. However, it is expensive and I can't justify spending the money unless there is a fair chance I will get a job out of it. I have already spent four years studying for a degree that won't get me a job - I'm reluctant to do that over again.

Are there many jobs for people who have the Cert 3 but have never worked in admin?

i work as an admin/receptionist in the school holidays at a strata management business, and all it entails is answering phones, filing, talking to customers/clients face to face. Basically wat u should do is try and get some work experience, so then you are able to put on ur resume that you have do admin work experience b4
