You can't always avoid these things because they just happen.
Especially in your teenage years LOL.
But in the end, it all ends up being yours and the guy's decision.

Just make sure the guy isn't a complete a-hole and a complete waste of time

Plus, if you can balance studies and a relationship, i'm sure you'll be fine.
It just depends on how committed you are in the relationship.

Break ups are normal really.
You get depressed, upset etc etc. But time heals the pain and you'll get over him eventually
