If so, could someone tell me what the formulas involved in it are? I seem to have lost my book AND textbook.

You're going to have to derive the equations based on GP - It all depends on the conditions, such as how often interest is payed (e.g. monthly, quarterly), the principle amount borrowed, repayments, etc.
