Can i still get a pretty good essay result even if i don't include any figures?

According to my (former) economics teacher, you can't get 15/15 without figures and sources mentioned to support the figures.

You NEED to have statistics and figures in an economics essay, if you don't then like ilikebeef said you can't get a 15/15

Probably best to remember: unemployment figures, inflation, cash rate

maybe some others as well.. don't know about the importance of HDI and that.

In my opinion you should be able to, but teachers often look for signals to show that you are doing all the right things and when they skim read essays they give marks for things like that. So do it.
