Of course it is. There are many people who achieve that high without any extra education, just study as hard as you can with the things you have and should be able to achieve your wanted result

Depends on how well you study at home, and how good your teachers are.

Of course it's possible to achieve high marks without tutoring, so many people have done it. But it doesn't hurt to get some help from a past HSC student, older siblings, teachers, etc.

Use the syllabus and do past papers. For English-related subjects, write up sample essays and ask your teacher for pointers.

You will need to be ranking in the top few ranks for each of your subjects for a UAI of 99+. You've chosen some decently scaling subjects, which should aid you to achieving that goal. I wish you the best of luck this year. ;)

You only ever get back what you put in. 65 000+ students are doing the 2006 HSC there will be a large majority that have tutors etc but it is up to you the individual to take charge of your learning, having a tutor doesn't automatically mean you will get a high mark YOU still have to put the work and the hours in.

You get out whatever you put in. Good luck with your HSC yy!
