Is it possible to achieve an ATAR of 97+ even though you are doing General Mathematics & Standard English?

Pretty much exactly the same thread as this.

And to answer your question - yes, it is.

Anything is possible!
Just believe in yourself and you can do anything. / cliche.

But in all seriousness, yeah, it's do-able, but more difficult perhaps.

Thank you for your answers, I really do appreciate them. I've read the responses on the supplied link & it really has given me a slight boost of confidence. It's great to know that with dedication and sheer hard work, it is possible to achieve an exceptional ATAR, even with the combination of Standard English and General Mathematics.

It is. A guy in my school got 97 (well close anyway 96.8) and he did General Math, Standard Eng, PDHPE, Biology and Art. These are relatively low scaling subjects (minus the biology) and he came out with an excellent result and an All-Rounders Award.
