Yeah. Photography is not going towards my ATAR so its okay.

Though, why do people (generallY) score badly in English Standard??

It's not that they scored badly. It's the alignment process. Compare last year's English Standard results to English Advanced, there were only a handful of band 6s in Standard English. It is much harder to get a band 6 in Standard English than in Advanced English.

Any combo of subjects can get you an ATAR over 95.
