All of my classmates are going with someone and I'm pretty much stuck by myself, plus all the guy's I know live 5 hours away and are working the following day:frown2:
So is anyone else going to the formal alone?

Not really! As long as you have fun and socialise with others it should be fine!

I went alone.

At one point they announced each table and/or couple, who would then walk out onto the stage in front of everyone. I was at a table of six, but they forgot to call my name with the rest of them.

They eventually called me out on my own... This was the first day I had my dreadlocks and no-one had seen them. I basically strolled out on stage, hands outstretched like "Yeah ma'fucka" - everyone cheered :p.

Wouldn't have happened if I'd gone with someone.

Not as long as you have fun, socialise, make new friends- people generally don't judge you for it

they're not going to be slow-dancing the entire night, relax >.> Most people don't know how to dance so they'll just jump up and down waving their arms during the chorus, formal dates mean nothing !
