Is it worth revising/studying the Maths Advanced content if I'm taking Ext 2? (1 Viewer)

I know it's 'assumed knowledge', but it just seems like a lot to study for if it won't even be in any of my exams.

(Also I'm doing 4U accelerated so I'll do my maths HSC in 2025)

lots of yr 11 maths from adv transfer over. imo do as much as you can for both 2u and 3u for yr 11, then flunk adv in yr 12.

I completely slacked yr 12 adv. I'd say if you're really not bothered, at least make sure you're comfortable with basic concepts like functions and integration, beware that the topic arithmetic and geometric series and sequences (yr12 adv) can sometimes sneak its way into ext 1 and 2 exams (even hsc). All other topics (especially stats) can screw off

Definitely, you'll need to be comfortable (if not very good) at the concepts in 2U. Think of integration in 2U and then doing a harder version in 4U.
