Hello fellow users of boredofstudies.org

I'm currently in the process of deciding which HSC subjects I would like to study in years 11/12, however I am faced with a dilemma.
I don't really want to do 16 units in year 11, thus I need to get rid of 1/2 subjects. I am struggling to decide which subjects to veto as I enjoy then and I am good at all of them.
Therefore, I was wondering if taking their scalings into consideration when choosing which subject/s to eliminate would be a good idea or not, and I would like some feedback on what you guys/girls think

If you think you can do well in all the subjects, then you can consider scaling

Yes AND No! Do not do a subject purely just for scaling, at least have a reasonable performance in that subject.

Scaling should definitely be one of your considerations, along with your personal interest in the subject.

Don't hesitate to pick extra units in year 11, since you can easily drop the ones you don't like.

Good luck :)
