There is one particular song which pains me heaps. Everytime i hear the song "Apologize by One Republic" it reminds me of my ex (we were together for 3 months). It brings back strong, vivid memories at the beach, movies etc

Anyone else have a song that reminds them of an ex or makes you think about one of your "crushes".

i think the reason why apologise reminds me of my ex so much is because that used to be our favourite song at the time and we would tease each other with the song...

yeah, sadly there are way too many - i have a problem with associating music and events. it's annoying because a song can be destroyed by a memory of a gross encounter or whatever.

I was talking to one of my ex's after we had broken up and she told me she heard a song on the radio and was reminded of me. Now every time I hear that song I am reminded of her.

It's not one of those songs that you hear a lot... If you exclude the times I have deliberately played it (because I do like the song and it is on my computer) I have only heard it once.

(the song does have some significance that made it remind her of me in the first place, it's not just some random song, but I can't be bothered explaining).
