The CSSA extended response question was for Family and it was something like

" how have law reforms helped achieve justice for family members and society"

the same thing applied for Workplace.

I went straight into two contemporary issues straight away although i used plenty case studies and legislation for example for Family I

Done my Into

Defined Marriage - Hyde v Hyde

Same sex marriage - legal responses/ legislation

changing nature of parental responsibility

and so on..

Now, it was around 1,200 words, was i expected to not just focus on contemporary issues?

No you're meant to focus on contemporary issues....My teaqcher has told me numerous times that they are the core areas that we must evaluate when writing our essays under the new syllabus. So you did it how it should have been done.
