My subjects are:
Gen. Maths
Stand. English
PDHPE
Business Studies
Visual Arts
Music 1

I've recently gotten a little nervous.
Have I made it hard for myself to achieve a relatively strong ATAR? (In the 80's)

standard english --> advanced english
general maths --> 2U maths

standard eng and general maths arent that good for ATAR, even though they're easier. Remember with standard english its very hard just to get a band 5.

PDHPE isnt good for ATAR as well, but if you get a good rank at school it should be alright.

Do music extension if you can, that would give you a massive boost to ATAR.

You can achieve any ATAR if you work hard enough at any set of courses. If you can get in the 80s-90s for your courses (excluding Standard English, for which 70s is more achievable) you can definitely get a > 80.00 ATAR.

you might have to work hard
and if you do, you should get an ATAR in the 80s

As everyone has said above, you can get 80+ but you'll need to work in order to ensure you get high marks to counteract the dodgy scaling of your subjects :)
