i was wondering if it is possible to get an ATAR of like 93+ if you do 10 units and get a band 6 in each one of those subjects except like a low band 4 in 2unit maths? those other subjects are ecos, english advanced (say a high band 5 for english), ancient and business?

I think so. I put im similar scores for my subject in the atar calculator and it came out around 94... so I'm assuming 3 band 6s should and a high band 5+ band 4 in mathematics should get 93+. :)

Hope it's going to get scaled like 2003.
Apparently in 03 a 72/120 (i think) aligned to 83%?

you would probably get in with the bonus points scheme if you fall short of 93

also yeah i did the 2003 paper and i agree it falls into the same difficulty if not harder... thats good if it scales like that coz im looking at like a 68-72/120 raw

each uni has ways of propping up your ATAR, like at UNSW if you get a band 6 in english advanced, they will add 2 ATAR points to your ATAR if you choose a course at UNSW

check the uni you are applying for, its different for each one
