i dont think u can say with total assurance who is the greatest musician to have ever lived. how can u compared musicians across different styles?

although 2pac is by far my favourite musician and his lyrics are amazing and deep and soulful and everything, i think people like elvis who pioneered rock and roll as well as beethoven who composed all these symphonies while he was deaf are more talented

and of course this is all very subjective...

my fav 2pac songs are never call u bitch again, staring at the world thru my rear view and life goes on

Seriously, this thread gave me a good laugh. That Lebo and Indian arguing provided good humour.

Onto the topic, no I don't think Tupac is the greatest musician alive, and I do think he is terribly overrated just is alot of dead musicians who died young. Simply, he was good (a couple of songs I like). It just seems because he died, people have to rate him higher than they ever did when he was alive.
