And lets just run with Iraq for a moment. How many of those deaths are American (et al) caused, and how many have been caused by the Islamic Insurgents who find it pretty awesome to blow themselves up along with 50 others in a crowded market?

If we are to play the "blame game" in the current Gaza-Israeli conflict, the Palestine Liberation Organisation, the "sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people" has layed the blame squarely upon Hamas.

I know that both sides committ atrocities (ie Israel and Palestine), and yet, you seem to be trying to convince us that it is only the Devil and his men (The Jews) that are evil and all they do is eat little Palestinians! Jesus Christ, have you even stopped to look at the results of Hamas aggression? Of course not, the Palestinians wouldn't possibly murder an Israeli!

Comrade, we do look at it fairly. Allow me to break down the results for you:

Israelis killed by Hamas: ~20 in about 8 years
Palestinians (some civilians, some police, about 25% actually Hamas members, 1 Hamas kingpin) killed by Israel: 500+ in about 8 days

It's not that we're going out of our way to criticise Israel, we criticise Israel because we see them commiting FAR MORE atrocities than anyone else they directly interact with. We criticise Israel because Israel always is the aggressor, always commits more atrocities and by ANY measure is the more evil/bad/naughty of itself and ANY Arab country. You see us targeting Israel more than Hamas/Hezbollah/whatever because and only because they're worse. Far, far worse.

And myself, BigBoyJames, Sam04u and several other prominent anti-Israel members at BoS are constantly criticising Arab countries for their scrappy record on human rights, btw.

Yeah I've heard that too. But the thing is as a result of sending this 'message' they have just bolstered the ranks of the fundamentalists that want to see Israel wiped of the map. This is going escalate the Israeli conflict to new heights, some really scary shit. Did they think that they would achieve more good than harm from 2500 injured and 600 dead?
Anyhow I reckon the international response has been pretty disgusting so far, little to nothing has been done to stop the carnage.
