pretty cool experiment.

take one of the best and most world renowned violin virtuosos.

get them to busk at peak hour in the morning at a busy station.

get them to play the most beautiful pieces of music written for solo violin for an hour.

see what happens.

good article.

do you ever take notice of street musicians or buskers.

when i'm walking in the city or whatever and hear one i automatically stop in my tracks and see where the noise is coming from. if they're really good then i go and watch for ages and then throw some change in their hat.

but then again i'm never out at 7 30am with somewhere to be in a rush so i really don't know what would happen if i was like one of those commuters.

f00king awesome tone and sound on that violin.

3.5mil:eek:

I do find interest!

Thanks for that, it was a good article :)

I'm gonna email it around to my muso friends.

Funnily enough, this happens more than you know on Pitt St. Twice in my life I bumped into friends who are busking there. I'll stand there and smile at them.
I'll throw in something, maybe, to make them laugh... And no one has any idea that this person probably plays for Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
