i dont hate taxes...dont get me wrong, but some taxes are just absolutely ridiculous e.g. the carbon tax is a load of shit.
i think taxes are necessary for a number of reasons, such as providing people with public goods that they would not otherwise pay for if they werent funded for by taxppayers money....and taxes are important for wealth redistribution.
if all people are forced to pay tax, then i dont see why richer people and/or organisations go apeshit crazy when they need to pay taxes..
just look at the mining industry going apeshit about paying more taxes..
