Just another question about this essay question, would it be regarding the Composer's personal, cultural and social context and values? Or do i talk about the characters cultural social and personal values and context of my prescribed and related text?

Essay Question:
“The real voyage of discovery consists in not seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Marcel Proust.
Consider the quotation above and consider how perceptions of discovery vary according to personal, cultural and social contexts and values.

It would definitely be regarding the context and values, because that is what shapes a person's understanding of themselves and the world. Additionally, when the quote talks about having new eyes, it's being able to have a refined perspective that allows an individual to progress in their journey to discover, hence the "real voyage". And no, you don't discuss about the characters in your prescribed and related, the purpose of an AOS essay to argue what conceptual links pertaining to discovery are found.

Oh i know context and values, but would it be the character's personal context and values, or would i talk about the author's context.. and how it has positioned us to have a different perspective on discoveries..., so then through the composer's context , i would use the characters as example?
Or is the main talk about the characters personal background?
Sorry if this is confusing...but im confused lol
