Study guides are extermely helpful, however don't spend too much money on buying every study guide out there.

These days, there are many websites available where you can obtain study notes and tips. Further, the state education sites have all past exam papers and answers online.

Good luck!

Just remember that techniques exist to explain how you understand quotes from the text. This understanding, phrased in a way relevant to answering the question, will be your best friend over this year.

Excel study guides give huge amounts of material to memorize. Anyone can memorize a text. Going from memorizing to applying is what separates top students from competent ones.

I do not recommend mass-produced study guides.

English markers will go through papers and papers filled with the same ideas because students use the study guide's principles. If you want to distinguish yourself, that is, achieve a greater chance of band 6, formulate your OWN understanding
