Don't know if this is useful still. But OK.
The book "Fashion Now 2" has all this stuff on designers. I remember Karl Lagerfeld, Sass and Bide and heaps of other designers and their labels in it. It's got interviews, photos, and a little mini-bio thing. It is incredibly thick, but awesome. If it's at your library, get it. Because it helps heaps.
Also the first version of it is good, but it's not as big.
