i have to agree with the statement 'this movie looks shite'.

but i'm not one for epics, they bore me.

I watched King Arthur today (saw Gosend the day before - wasting too much money on movies) and i actually thought it was pretty good...

The ice scene scared me. I've never had the urge to goto Antartica.

I saw the movie yesterday although I had read about the reviews saying it was a 'shite movie'. I didn't actually think it was all that bad btw.
Apart from the miscast of the guy who played King Arthur (who didn't really believe in what he was doing half the time, or it seemed like to me), the rest of the actors were quite good. Especially Lancelot and the other Salmations. There were great character developments and some brilliant fighting scenes (e.g. the ice lake). And it being about historical events (which I have a strong fondness for), I ended up enjoying the movie all up. I'd give it around 7/10.

If you're excited about seeing it, I'd go see it. If you're not too sure, save your money and wait till it hits the video stores.
