LANGUAGE SATURDAY SCHOOL/ OPEN HIGH SCHOOL Question (1 Viewer)

Hey guys!

I'm in Year 10 and entering Year 11 in a few weeks (exciting isn't?) and I have a question about community languages. My native tongue, Filipino, is available as a HSC course at Bankstown Girls High School. Open High School does not offer it, and BGHS is the only place that I know of that gives it. Do any of you know where else I cant take it? BGHS is probably an hour from me, and is it worth it? I'm pretty good at the language, and I enjoy speaking it. Does TAFE offer langauge courses? Answers would be appreciated. THANKS. :3

What are your other subject choices and how many units are you taking?

Um, my other subjects are Bio, Chem, Adv. English, Prelim English Extension, Business Studies and Gen Maths. That's 11 units without Filipino.

OTEN does offer languages but it doesn't include Filipino. So is either you go to BGHS or do it through a tutor.

Okay, thank you! Is Filipino good for the ATAR? I can speak it really well despite being born here, and I can read and write, too!
