So I am starting B. of Information Technology this year, and I am wondering if it is a common practice for students to take laptops to their lectures or whatever and use them instead of books?

I did this last year in school for all my notes, so I was wondering if I could do it again in uni...

Don't worry, you're right tp use your laptop- remember that the desks especially in lecture halls are very small tho. Don't know about IT specifically, but in the Comm courses probably 20% of the class brings a laptop to their classes
