I have a Brother HL-1430 laser printer. The toner has run out (or shall run out very soon).
This is the first time I am going to be buying toner for the printer since I bought the printer, so I was wondering if it is possible to replace the toner "ink"...As was the case with the old bubblejet cartridges. It used to work out much cheaper back then.
The model of the toner I am after is TN-6300, if it helps.
Also, if this is possible, is it a safe thing to do?
Thanks.
edit: I've found out that I can, courtesy of the CArtridgeWorld site. Do people generally replace the entire cartridge or just refill the toner?
