you are finding the equivalent annual cashflow. so like you said, you use 3 yrs to calculate the cashflow for each asset (as if they both only last 3 yrs) you see how it is standardised?

It's easier to calculate it as:

cov(a,b) = E(a*b) - E(a)*E(b)

And in real life you can calculate beta quite easily, although it's based on historical data (and not that reliable).

And I forgot how to calculate beta. And I rubbished something up for tha CAPM one.

MC1, was it 0? She went through it in the last lecture.

Yeah EV = 0, because you of five chances, you get one chance of getting 1 mark, and 4 chances of getting -0.25.

i dont know..this 253 did weird things to me.
i would comtemplate getting hit by a car while driving (with my right arm sticking out and the car hitting it). if that would happen, i'd do the supplementaries
