9/10 movie, very funny, good message/lesson for all of us. Songs are decent but not the best. Aamir Khan basically always makes/stars in great movies.

Fifty shades of grey

Everything about it was tacky and terrible. Some really shitty acting, predictable dialogues, giant pauses between dialogues and no subtlety with foreshadowing. Well I guess that's what you get out of a fanfic.

Interesting read HERE - 50 Shades of [Sigh]: The Disastrous 50 Shades of Grey Press Tour.

When the people acted in it says such things, you really shouldnt expect much i guess.

Taupe Gray: "I had to do stuff to her that I'd never choose to do to a woman."
Dakota Johnson, Today, July 24, 2014: "It's not, like, a romantic situation. It's more, um, like, technical and choreographed, and less—it's more like a task."

I was thinking of watching this, now I must.

Title: Gone Girl
Thoughts: Before watching this movie, I'd heard how good it was and that it was also based on a book. It's a thriller and I am not a fan of crime shows or books really but I decided to give it a shot. I watched about 20 minutes and really wanted to continue but thought I'd wait and read the book first. Did some research and concluded that I'd read the book after the movie. It's hard to explain the movie without giving spoilers which is pretty much what every review of it said. Throughout the whole thing, I was hooked and quite shocked at what was happening since I'd never heard of something like this before. By the end, I was speechless. I hope I haven't given anyone extremely high expectations but it just amazed me. The cast was surprisingly great. Goddamn.

Definitely recommended.

Also: finished the book a few days ago and I realised the movie skipped some things out but mostly stayed true. Probably the best adaptation from book to movie I've seen thus far. I think from now on I'll be watching movies before reading books to save myself the disappointment.

The Theory of Everything feels more like a film about carer stress. I felt it was an empty space for Eddie Redmayne to show off his acting prowess. Most people seem to rave on about it, though.

'Blade Runner (Director's Cut)' directed by Ridley Scott.
IMDB: 8.2/10
Rotten Tomatoes: 9.1/10
Genre: Science Fiction/Neo-noir

Just watched it for the second time and my god, a brilliant philosophical, visceral and deliberate piece of art. Wish we could still do this for the HSC ):
