I think what was really bad was that Cruise's character didn't die. Completely Hollywood. Even worse was that he got with the girl, I mean wtf.

actually they didn't say if he got with the girl or not, i don't know if it was implied but i didn't seem like it. yeah it was a bitch they didn't kill cruise that was so fucked how he survived the gattling rounds
