Ok in regards to the 'Law Reform' facet of the syllabus, has anyone researched 'Circle Sentencing'? This was derived through the 'Aboriginal Deaths in Custody' issue ...

If you have, what legislation has been amended/tabled in order to cater for it?

lol i think im askin a bit much .... but hey im sure there are a few intellectuals out there???

yeah circle sentencing was introduced after recommendations from the Law Reform Commission, and based on the New Zealand model. The legislation was the crimes(circle sentencing)act 2002 and the first case to implement it was R v Bolt(2002)
