Hey, just a quick question
Ive been looking for an equation of a lead compound reacting with water and im going no where... so if anyone has some ides that would be awesome
Thanks
Its for the monitoring ion section
Edit: i actually found some last nite....
if anyone else needs em (was doing an assignment its
PbCl2 which is slightly soluble, but dissolves in excess Chloride ions
PbCl2(s) + 2Cl-(aq) <==> [PbCl4]2-(aq)
And Pb(OH)2 which is also slightly soluble, yet dissolves in excess hydroxide:
Pb(OH)2(s) + 2OH-(aq) <==> [Pb(OH)4]2-(aq)
they kinda work
