x-> +infinity

and

lim (2-x) ^tan [(pi/2)x]
x-> 1

Also Lyou, not exactly sure if you can take for granted that 1^(infinity)=1, unless you did something else i'm unaware of.

can you elaborate on that?

i wanted to know how to rewrite the problem so i can use L'Hopital.

first, using the definite integral method in ext 1 projectile motion, now this.

2/infinity = 0

0^(infinity^2) = 0, not 1?

Although, the whole infinity as a power concept is very very quaint.

cos 0 is 1.

for the second one...

lim (2-x) ^tan [(pi/2)x]

it's essentially 1^0 = 1
