CHEMISTRY... so like i got my yearly mark back (68%), SO BS

i dont get it... when i do quizzes in tutor, i do well 80%+ but when it comes to school which is easier...i get low WHY??????????

is it because im doing sillies? (havent gotten test back, only mark)

i found the test medium difficulty like 6-7/10

Or am i too confident?

How did you compare to everyone else in the class?
You probably just need to do practice questions

from what you've described it sounds most likely a lack of applying your skills to the exam questions.

Have you practiced past exams/HSC trials? They might be more HSC style than what "quizzes" you do.

I dont know what everyone got, i asked my mark after school, i didnt do many past paper questions (prelim)

I know the whole concept...but maybe you are right!

Are you answering questions properly? You might be losing marks if not. My teacher always emphasises reading questions carefully and knowing action verbs so you are able to write a response and give the marker what they want for full marks.

I just got mine back too. I learnt that the expectations and standards set out by the marking criteria of the HSC is much more strict. I lost marks which were in fact correct but it did not fulfil the criteria. It was soo frustrating !! In the end I learnt to accept it and improve on my answers in future.

Suck it up, I lost a mark for having extra details and satisfying all of the criterion.
