hey there all current UNE students.

I've just been accepted into B Arts/LLB; i'm just curious about how many law units you do first year and how many each semester?

I've just gotten my letter to say enroll soon, so i'm just seeking out some answers.

A quick search gave me this much. Looks like there are four first year law units: Introduction to Legal Systems and Methods (LS100), Law in Context (LS101), Civil Procedure (LS111) and Criminal Law and Procedure (LS160).

You can go on UNE's website and they give you an example timetable of how many units and what to do each year that they reccomend

I had found that much. *chuckle*
oh well I'll see how I go with enrolling anyway.

The set up that i've seen is for first year is only the two law units in first year, thus the questioning.

The Law Programme for 2009 has changed from past years, with LS101 and 111 being added.

When I started though we enrolled on second day of O-Week. Do you have to do it online?

Yea in the acceptance letter, we must take care of our own enrollment, through myUNE online etc etc.
But thanks for that, i've been perusing the law units for the while.

Yeah, UNE upgraded to online enrolment two years ago. I think they were one of the last universities in the world to do it, too.

I am aware of the requirement to enrol online, but thought that freshers would be able to do so during O-Week.

I asked Kate UNE, she confirmed it is better to enrol (online obviously) before heading to uni, for both semesters and she confirmed what units need to be done too. So i'm enrolled.

You should also know, the JCR President is called Gumby! You will meet her on the first day. She'll introduce herself as Tegan, but call her Gumby anyway, she'll love it!
