Could someone please help me with this question?

Question: Rewrite the following relation in index form (that is without using logarithms)
Log(x) - Log(y) = n*Log(z)

(btw all the logs in this question are base a)
The answer is x=y*z^n im not sure how you get there using index form =S

log(x)-log(y)=nlog(z)
log(x/y)=log(z)^n
x/y=z^n
x=y*z^n

the question says 'in index form (that is without using logarithms)' so i assumed that meant you cant use log laws which both of you (Parvee and nightweaver066) have done

It doesn't say you can't use logarithms. It just wants the expression rewritten in index form (i.e. no logarithms in it).

alogax - logay = anlogaz

alogax / alogay = (alogaz)n

x/y = zn (by definition)

x = y*zn
