Anyone else here on BoS take part in any long distance races?

I came second when I was in Year 2.

Pretty awesome... if the race didn't have two participants.

For a race to be regarded as long-distance, it typically has to exceed 5 kilometres in distance. School cross countries are on the borderline that I probably wouldn't regarded it as one.

Oh okay well my school cross countries maxed out at 4km. Nevermind..

i prefer riding my bike for long distances. for running i just use an oval or a treadmill.

Three races in the pipeline this year and I'm incredibly unfit at the moment.

Really struggling to make it to 3km in a single session.
