ok so if a student recieves around 60% for all their subjects for the class assessment mark and recieves all 85% and higher in their HSC exam mark will this result in a high or low ATAR score???

They'll get a high exam mark, lower assessment mark and an HSC mark that's roughly the average of those two values.

This question is too vague to answer. It really depends on a host of factors such as your rank, the gaps between you and the rest of your cohort, plus the subject and your definition of what a high/low ATAR is.
