Hey guys!

Hope everyone is well, and everyone’s enjoying their holidays!

So I’m applying to the Macquarie’s leaders and achievers early entry scheme and I was wondering if anyone has any advice?

What are the type of activities that stand out?
Anything specific I should include within my responses? (max is 1000 words lol- I need plenty to talk about)

If you’ve applied for this before, please pm me!

Much appreciated! Thank you.

Good luck! :)

Not sure, but here are some ideas:

- If your catholic, maybe alter-serving, mass-reader, volunteer for charity work etc
- contributions to your school: member of clubs, src, leadership roles etc

What year do you have to be in to apply for this scheme?
According to the website:
- You must be completing the New South Wales Higher School Certificate, ACT Senior Secondary Certificate or International Baccalaureate in 2020
- As an enrolment condition, applicants must complete their Year 12 schooling successfully including Year 12 examinations (or assessments as determined by NESA for 2020).

I might just add that its 1000 characters so don't freak out about 1000 words. I would also recommend you type it into a separate document as it doesn't save your progress meaning you have to finish the application in one sitting.
