im reading the section about the source-path-sink system and wow, i don't understand it. can someone please explain this in simpler terms? ^__^

> sugar moves from source areas (eg. leaves) to phloem by active transport

> high concentration of sugar in phloem, so water also moves in (by osmosis) to even things out

> this creates area of high pressure in the phloem

> sugar moves up/down phloem towards areas of low pressure (sink areas eg. flowers)

> offloaded at these areas by active transport
