just a quick question, would really appreciate the help...

is a single major descrobed as:
1.42 uoc
2.48 uoc

= = it gets quite confusing... dont tell me to chek the handbook i already did and they have 2 different answers...

quote one:
"For a single major, 42 UOC (7 courses) must be completed."

quote two:
"a major of at least 48 units of credit"

cheers for the help =) will rep!

It's 48 UOC to complete a major. That's what you need.

The reference to 42 UOC is that you need to do 42UOC worth of courses in a particular major (i.e. economics, accounting) plus 1 flexible core course (6 UOC)

I THINK.

Since the course structure has changed heavily this year.

Actually, fuck it. I didn't realise you're doing com/eng.

What I said above shouldn't apply to you.

Instead, I'll put it this way.

You're not graduating until you finish 264 UOC.

264UOC/6 = 44 Courses

Read up the handbook and solve from there.

1. it depends which year you're enrolled in re which rules you follow - ie i follow 2007 ruling but if u guys just started this yr u'd follow the new 2010 ones...

2. from memory, engineering i dont think u can do more than 1 major as theres not enough space....

3. just work it out by looking at the rules and breaking them up between engo / commerce units!
