My marks in school are so terrible, I just feel so depressed. Even after studying for tests I get horrible marks. I don't know how my life ended up this way. Would there be any ways to improve marks. And by bad marks i mean <50%.
I'm in year 11 this year

How much do you study? How do you study? Why do you fail the tests? What do you get wrong and why?

Seek external help - whether free(from teacher or school friends) or paid(tutors) while you still have time (being in Yr 11) ASAP.

I already have a tutor for 2 of my subjects but it's not really that helpful

Don't worry about the HSC it means not much all in the real world.

Just start your own business.

starting a business isnt as easy as people think

there's a lot of thought and planning that needs to be put into it. you will be competing with other businesses hence you need to find unique ways to promote your product on the market. there will be times (especially if you're inexperienced and/or dont put much planning into a business) when you are on the brink of failing

i cannot remember the exact statistic but most businesses fail within the first couple of years

if you really do want to start your own business, then put in a lot of commitment (possibly even sacrificing your social life) to make yourself stand out from the others
