So the title is self explanatory, but I'm doing materials science and engineering. Although I am genuinely interested in the course, I'm considering transferring to a different degree if the job prospects are really poor.

I know of a few people who've done it. One's working at Bluescope Steel in Woollongong. One's working in the mines. A couple are QA testers. One's working to develop faster printers or something.

From what I heard, quite a few people in material science engineering try to do Masters (e.g in biomedical engineering), as part of a combined degree.
