I'm doing MATH1131 next semester. Any tips on how to do really well?? I am kind of apprehensive with the Maple tests.

do the past papers in the manual because the questions you get in the class tests will be sooo similar if not the same. join the first year mathsoc group on facebook because they've posted the solutions to them. and just keep up with the tute problems :3 maple is easy if you put the time in, and you get 5 attempts at each test i think

My personal tips are to keep up in lectures, do your tut questions before coming to class. Be consistent with maple (this part is very easy to neglect - so set aside a certain maple session each week). Ask questions and enjoy the course. :)

Never knew 1131 was offered in Semester 2
A lot of people fail it in first semester and then repeat 1131 in S2 and 1231 over Summer. I believe quite a few BoS members have done just that.

For the first 5 maple online tests, you have unlimited attempts as long as you finish it b4 the deadline and from memory, each calculus and algebra online tests you only get 5 attempts.

But ye, maple should be easy if you put the time in since they use the same questions from the practice tests for the Maple Lab test
