Heya.

I was just wondering whats the easiest maths i can do lol ? Is it MATH130 or MATH123 ? I have to pick one and my maths not being so great i want to take the easiest one obviously, and since i dont need to do any maths in 2nd or 3rd year of BIS i figured it wont matter... So any recomendations would be great..

cheers

Make sure it will count, cause if you did a particular level of maths in school, then you cant do 123. No point wasting time and money for a subject that wont count...

I'm facing this problem aswell as I have to do MATH130 before I can proceed to MATH135 but then if i do MATH135 along with COMP125 they'll clash. So I was wondering which unit I should take in second semester - MATH135 or COMP125? - I'm doing B eng (software) if that helps at all.

Thanks

iunno but when i was applying for SIBT (alternative pathway to macq) i had to do MATH130 (mandatory) so i would guess if a diploma course requires me to, then it's only logical that i probably have to take MATH130 before progressing into MATH135

oh okay then .. yeh u have to do math130 then

let me warn u the maths u learn in SIBT is completely different from what u learn at MQ uni ..

there is a learning centre at MQ uni that provides students with help for maths. when i did math135 and looked at the work the students from SIBT were doing for math135 .. it was completely different .. so yeh .. just let u know when u transfer over that the work is different.
oh i withdrawed from SIBT because i got an offer straight from macq but thanks anyways :) just to think about it i shuld start hounding SIBT about my refund lol but yeah coz when u look at the unit prereq comp125 can do much more than math135 but i think i might ask the academic advisers next tues =.=;;
