Only 2 passes :blink2:

What's the highest mark recorded for 2u BoS trials (from previous years)?

What percentage of the students who sat the test do only 2u?

In the first year we had a 2U paper back in 2013, it was held at a different time to Ext2 so it was attempted by some in the Ext2 cohort.

However, since then it has been attempted by smaller cohort which I think actually only do 2U or Ext1. No one got over 50% in last year's paper.

im gonna take the paper at 11 o clock.

Hopefully I don't get rekt.

Does anyone know a reason why i can get so good in HSC exams but struggle so much in BOS Trials?
Like the mutiple choice is easy and the question 11 and 12 is easy enough in the BOS trials but after that i die.

BOS Trials is meant to be a lot harder than HSC exams

It's meant to be for the students who are comfortably in the high band 6 range to take their skills to the next level

I had a quick skin through - It seems a lot easier than the 2014 paper

Thanks for the upload Trebla :)

With question 11d two of the values of x are pi/2 and 3pi/2, but tan(pi/2) and tan(3pi/2) are undefined. Would it be wrong to say that x can't equal pi/2 and 3pi/2? A similar question showed up in the 2014 2U multiple choice (question 7) and they said that because it's undefined it can't be solution, is there any difference?

Yes it will be wrong because our initial equality didnt have a tan we kind of fabricated it in there to find a solution. Thus are solutions.
