Hi guys

I have just received my maths notification yesterday and the notification states that 30% of the prelim course will be examined. Just wondering what topics from the prelim will be in my exam and what section of those topics because my teacher isn't telling me anything.

The prelim course is kind of like the building blocks of the whole maths course, things like basic arithmetic, algebra and calculus will probably be in your test.

harder trigonometry definitely, memorise your trig identities

also stuff like locus and the parabola might be examined, just do past hsc papers as they too, have prelim content inaugurated within

My half yearly has plane geometry, co-ordinate geometry, parabola and locus i think. There are also some trig identity questions and cosine/sine rule. I swear mine has like 50% prelim..
