Just to keep it mathematically related: logs are boring, differentiation is alright but integration is super awesome. Maybe because I just started learning it so the novelty hasn't worn off

I hate integration but love diffrentiation.

True e^logx is the same as e^lnx [also e^log(base e)x] but here they want you to rearrange first.

e and log are inverse operations so they effectively cancel each other out.

A bit like saying the sqrt of 3 squared = 3.

So we end up with just x and the derivative of x is one.
