Pretty much for maths 2u and 3u, everything starting from yr 11 to the end of yr 12 can be assessed in the HSC. Hence, your own school chooses the order that topics are done. But usually, the easier and smaller topics are done in yr 11.

Nah, it's not pointless. It gets extremely important once you get to the Projectile Motion and physics aspect of Mathematics.

I like all maths topics...except the 3-d trigonometry. I hate it - it combines the geometry aspect with trigonometry = worst combination
